NORTHGLENN ELECTION INFORMATION

The City of Northglenn conducts municipal elections on the first Tuesday in November in odd-numbered years. The next city election will be held on Nov. 7, 2023. The City of Northglenn is divided into four wards. Each ward is represented by two City Council members that serve four-year staggered terms. The mayor is elected at-large every four years. City elections are non-partisan, which means City Council candidates do not run under any party label.

The following City Council positions will be elected:

  • Mayor - 4-year term

  • Ward 1 Council member - 4-year term

  • Ward 2 Council member - 4-year term

  • Ward 3 Council member - 4-year term

  • Ward 3 Council member - 2-year term*

  • Ward 4 Council member - 4-year term

  • Ward 4 Council member - 2-year term*

*Voters in Wards 3 and 4 will elect two Council members in November 2023 due to vacancies on Council that were filled by appointment as required by the City Charter. The shortened two-year terms are necessary to keep the Council terms staggered.

Vote for Jody!

  • Ward 4 Council member - 2-year term*

TRACK YOUR BALLOT

Voters can track the status of their mail ballot. This includes from the time the Adams County Clerk and Recorder mails the outgoing ballot packet to when their voted ballot is received and accepted for counting. Notifications can be sent by phone, email, or text. Voters who have an email address on file will be automatically enrolled in the ballot tracking program. If you did not receive an auto-enrollment notification, you can sign up at http://colorado.ballottrax.net.

LIVING SITUATION DOES NOT AFFECT
THE RIGHT TO VOTE

In Colorado, every eligible person has the right to vote. Individuals who do not have a fixed permanent address, or who cannot afford regular or adequate shelter, do not lose that right. People experiencing homelessness can register to vote by using a “home base” address.

Additional information for voters with disabilities or other circumstances (overseas and military voters, students living on campus, people with convictions, etc.) is available on the Secretary of State’s website.
